Works are getting underway on a new primary school in Charlemont.
It is currently known as Horseshoe Bend Primary School and will have placed for up to 525 students.
The Education Department says the school will help meet increasing demand in the growing local population, while also easing pressure on surrounding facilities.

Funding was set aside in the 2022/23 state budget for the land, with the school sharing in funding in the 2024/25 budget for construction.
It is scheduled to be ready by the first term of 2026.
