A man in his 30’s has been flown to hospital after a nasty crash on Torquay Rd in Grovedale on Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called after reports a car had crashed into a concrete pole around 3.20pm, with one person trapped inside the vehicle.
Fire crews worked to free the man, and the patient was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.

Another person was taken to Geelong Hospital by road in a stable condition.
