Drysdale’s outdoor pool will be staying open over Winter.
Geelong councillors agreed on Tuesday night to keep the North Bellarine Aquatic Centre (NBAC) going through the cooler months.
The gates were due to close at the end of March, and reopen later this year.

The city had previously blamed financial constraints due to the temporary closure.
Mayor Trent Sullivan has taken to social media to day funding has been secured until the end of May.
“The CEO will report to council by May, a report that identifies opportunities on how will keep the pool open,” he wrote.
“This is a win for the community in that the NBAC will stay open and official council report will be made to keep it open.”
