Geelong and the Surf Coast have been feeling the impact of some heavy rain through the night .
More than 19mms came down with a heavy downpour from around 2am.
It is the heaviest rain Geelong has seen for a while.

The rain has forced the cancellation of some local junior sporting events because of rain-soaked grounds, while some flooding has also been reported.
Water has covered the road on Reserve Road in Marshall, near Horseshoe Bend Road and Drews Road.
The SES has been monitoring the situation .
