A man is dead and another is under police guard after a death at a Geelong hospital.
Police were called to the hospital on the corner of Myers and Swanston streets around 2am, where the body of a man was located.
The man – who is yet to be formally identified and is believed to be a patient – was found in a room at the facility.

The second man – who is also patient of the facility – is now under police guard.
Police believe the two are known to each other.
