A train driver and conductor are being offered support by V/Line after a person was struck near Werribee.
A person was struck in the early hours of Saturday between the Little River and Wyndham Vale stations.
Their death is not being treated as suspicious.

V/Line says it is offering full support to staff involved in the collision and has thanked passengers for their patience.
Support was also extended to commuters on the train.
Buses were brought in for the final two services of night.
Services resumed later on Saturday morning.
