Police are calling for assistance in their investigation of a hit and run on Friday.
A pedestrian is believed to have been hit by a car while crossing the road at the roundabout of Swanston and Malop streets just before 7am.
“The offending vehicle, initially travelling west on Malop Street, continued straight through the roundabout, colliding with the victim,” police said in a statement.

“The vehicle did not stop to render assistance and was believed to be a white Honda or similar.”
The pedestrian was transferred to Geelong Hospital and sustained several injuries.
