Renewed call to find man missing for 24 years

Detectives have renewed their call to find a Wyndham man missing for almost 24-years.

Selman (Sam) Mala was last seen at his Hoppers Crossing home on Westmeadows Lane on June 28, 2000.

The 37-year-old was picked up in a Ford Fairline by two men and two women, telling family he was heading to Adelaide.

Sam had told his family he was trying to avoid facing court.

He was reported missing in 2004, with his family initially believing he had moved to the South Australian capital.

However they became concerned when they could not contact him.

Sam is described as being around 178cm tall with a thin build, short brown hair and green eyes.

Detectives are encouraging anyone who may have information on Sam’s whereabouts or may know who he was associating with in June, 2000 to come forward.
