Four people have been hospitalised after a three-vehicle collision in Anakie.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Bacchus Marsh and Windermere Roads just after 4pm on Tuesday, with Geelong Highway Patrols officers to investigate the cause of the collision.
The male driver and sole occupant of one of the vehicles was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious injuries.
A male driver and female passenger from the second vehicle, and the male driver of the third vehicle, were all taken to University Hospital Geelong by road ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ambulance Victoria had a specialist Air Ambulance Victoria helicopter crew as well as Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedics at the scene.
Multiple lanes of traffic have been closed in all directions.
