Hundreds are expected to hit the sand this morning for the annual Rip to River.
The major fundraiser for the Ocean Grove Lifesaving Club was first held in 1981.
This year there will be four events between Point Lonsdale and Ocean Grove: the 10km walk, 10km run, 5km run and Ripper Nipper Run.

The 10km events will see walkers and runners taking off from the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse to the Ocean Grove club.
The 5km run is from Ocean Grove main beach, while the Ripper Nipper Run is also held at OG main beach.
