St Kilda, Collingwood and Docklands are among the most expensive suburbs in Melbourne to rent a room.
A survey by flatmates.com.au has found Hoppers Crossing is among the cheapest areas to find a room to rent.

However the cost is still $200 a week in the Wyndham suburb.
The survey found most of the respondents were living in shared accommodation due to the rental crisis, and not being able to afford to live alone.
