A busy long weekend for Geelong Highway Patrol who’ve been out in force for Operation Regal, providing an update on some of the offences detected.
A 21-year-old P-plater from Charlemont is accused of travelling at 122km/h in a 70km/h zone.
Not even 30 minutes later, a 64-year-old Melbourne man was allegedly nabbed driving at speeds of 149km/h along Cape Otway Road, where the limit is 80km/h.

Both drivers had their licences suspended and their vehicles impounded at a cost of $1305.
They will both face a Magistrate at a later date.
