Two men who evaded police in a car with stolen plates from Grovedale to Ballarat have been arrested.
A silver Corolla was seen allegedly driving erratically on the Surf Coast Highway just before 2pm Monday, before it sped off.
The police helicopter helped officers on the ground monitor the vehicle to Elaine, where stop sticks were deployed.

Police say the Corolla was then driven into Ballarat, where the occupants ran off.
A 23-year-old man from Leopold, and a 25-year-old Brown Hill man were arrested shortly after.
They have been helping police with their investigation.
