A huge haul of vapes nicotine pouches and cigarettes in Belmont yesterday.
More than 100-thousand dollars worth of product was seized from a petrol station on Roslyn Road.
“Officers executed a search warrant at a petrol station on Roslyn Road, arresting two men inside the property,” police said in a statement.
“As a result of the search, officers located and seized 1934 vapes, an estimated 21,000 nicotine pouches, 1980 cigarettes and $42,760 in cash.”
A 38 year old Mt Duneed man and a 28 year old from Newcomb have been charged over the seizure, including for advertising or supplying poisons or controlled substance, knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime and possessing commercial quantity of vaping devices.
The two have been bailed to face the Geelong Magistrates Court next month.
