An early morning blaze at a tobacco shop in Belmont is being treated as a targeted attack.
The store sustained minor damage when a fire was lit outside Belmont Village on High Street around 12.30am Friday.
No-one was inside the business at the time.
Detectives from Taskforce Lunar have been called to investigate and believe it is suspicious.
They are now looking at any possible links to other recent fires.
The owners of a tobacco store in Lara closed their shop in February after being targeted twice in less than a week.
Police are hoping to talk to anyone with information on the Belmont fire, or who may have CCTV or dash cam footage.
Anyone with information is being called to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
