Train services impacted by North Shore collision

Commuters are being warned of delays on the Geelong train line as services between Waurn Ponds and Lara remain suspended following a fatal crash.

A truck driver died when his rig was struck by a train at North Shore on Monday afternoon.

V/Line says trains are running from Lara to Melbourne.

However there are limited bus services between Lara and Waurn Ponds.

The rail authority says passengers needing to travel should allow for significant delays and consider alternative plans.
