A truck driver has died after colliding with a train in North Shore on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the level crossing near the North Shore station around 12.20pm to find the train had run into the truck along Station Street.
It is understood the truck got struck on a level crossing.
The truck driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Passengers from the V/Line train were evacuated, no one else was injured during the incident.
V/Line confirmed coaches continue to replace trains between Lara and Warrnambool due to the obstruction on the track.
Geelong Line trains will continue to operate between Southern Cross and Lara.
