Two Barwon Prison inmates have been taken to hospital with stab wounds after a brawl broke out at the maximum security jail on Wednesday.
Paramedics were called to the Lara facility around 2.30pm, with two men aged in their 20’s left in hospital in a stable condition.
A third man suffered minor injuries and remained at the prison.

The Department of Justice has handed the incident to Victoria Police.
No staff were injured.
