The Victorian Ambulance union has called on Geelong locals to use ambulances only for emergency.
The union taking to social media on Saturday after crews were ramped for more than four hours.
The union saying an ambulance cannot get you in the door faster if its not an emergency.

“Busy night in Geelong where crews have been ramped for over 4 hours,” the post said.
“Please help out legends out.
“Ambulances can not get you through the front door any quicker if you are not dealing with a genuine emergency.
“You will get excellent service much faster from Virtual ED or your local urgent care centre.”
