A 45 year old Truganina man is facing firearms charges after a police raid on his home yesterday.
A sawn-off shot gun, an imitation handgun and drugs of dependence were allegedly seized.
“The 45-year-old Truganina man was charged with possess firearm contrary to Firearm Prohibition Order (FPO), prohibited person possess firearm, prohibited person possess imitation firearm, traffick drug of dependence and possess drug of dependence,” police said in a statement.

“He appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court late yesterday.
“A sawn-off 44 Ruger shotgun, an imitation handgun and what appears to be dried cannabis and methylamphetamine were seized from his address.”
Police have called for anyone with information to contact crimestoppers.
