A new addition for the Werribee Open Range Zoo family, with the birth of a Southern White Rhino.
Kipenzi gave birth to the 60kg calf earlier this month after a 16 month pregnancy.
Both mum and bub are doing well, and are spending time away from the other Rhino population at the zoo.

Dominic Moss from Zoos Victoria said staff were delighted at the newborn, but they had not settled on a name for the calf.
“The keepers on the Savannah team, we’ve come up with a shortlist of 15 names,” he said.
“Then we’ll whittle that down to three names, and then Zoo members will get to vote on the final choice.”
