A woman has been arrested over the theft of a car and from a residence in the CBD.
Police allege the 41-year-old of no fixed address broke into a residence at the rear of a church on Ryrie Street on Wednesday morning around 9.30am, taking a jumper and car keys.
Its then alleged she stole a nearby Volkswagen Caddy.
“The Volkswagen was driven along Melbourne Road in Rippleside where it was allegedly involved in a road rage incident with another vehicle,” police said in a statement.
“The victim pulled over and exited their vehicle before being assaulted by the woman.
“There were no injuries.”
The woman was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and conduct endangering life.
She’s been remanded to face court today.
