WorkSafe has been called in to investigate a death at a Truganina factory.
It’s believed a 59-year-old man was thrown from the basket of a scissor lift after the lift toppled over.
“It is understood the 59-year-old man was servicing an overhead bridge crane at the workplace when it started moving and the scissor lift he was working from toppled over,” a statement said.

“The worker was ejected from the basket of the scissor lift as it fell and died at the scene.”
It’s the 32nd workplace death in Victoria this year.
