Newcomb reserves player Jim Hall has avoided a trip to the tribunal, accepting a three-match suspension for an incident in the closing stages of Saturday’s win over Anglesea at Ellimatta Reserve.

Hall was reported on the day for a strike on Roo Sean Hermann, with AFL Barwon’s Match Review Panel grading it as intentional conduct, high impact and high contact, drawing a four-match suspension.

The early guilty plea reduces the ban to three games.
