Grinter Reserve turns into a swimming pool

Newcomb coach Tony Mirabella jokingly asked what Olympic gold medallist Grant Hackett was up to this weekend after Grinter Reserve was left looking like a swimming pool following rain earlier this week.

Drainage in the northwest corner of the ground couldn’t cope with the more than 40 millimetres of rain that fell across the region earlier this week.
