Oscar Lewis is the first confirmed departure from Torquay this off-season, signing with Central Murray league club Woorinen.
Lewis is no stranger to that region, playing underage football with Swan Hill before moving to the Surf Coast.
At the Tigers, he managed two Talent League appearances with the Geelong Falcons before returning to Swan Hill for the 2021 Covid-shortened season.
Lewis made his way back to McCartney Oval in 2022 and featured in the club’s premierships in 2023 and 2024.
However, the Torquay, which last week confirmed the return of former Port Adelaide great Travis Boak to McCartney Oval, has made a couple of further handy additions.
Former junior Spencer Meagher will return to the club after spending the time post-COVID with Ballarat league club Bacchus Marsh and, most recently, Spotswood in the Western league.
A 200cm ruck, Meagher was listed by the Geelong Falcons.
The Tigers have also welcomed Mitch McGrath from Central Highlands club Newlyn.
McGrath previously played with the Ballarat Swans, making 41 senior appearances.
Coach Dom Gleeson also confirmed that talented youngsters Will Montebello, Hamish McGowan, Gus Hanley, Banjo Dyer and Cooper Patton have been invited to train with VFL club Werribee.
