Planned redevelopment works at its Howard Harmer Oval base, scheduled to commence mid-June, will see Barwon Heads play a significant majority of its home games in the first half of the Bellarine league season.
The Seagulls, who kick off their 2026 campaign when they host Portarlington on Easter Saturday, had seven matches in the opening ten rounds at home in the original fixture.
That is now eight in 11 rounds after Barwon Heads and Battle of the Bridge rival Ocean Grove agreed to switch the Round 20 clash to Ray Menzies Oval.
The Seagulls’ only home match in the final nine rounds is the Round 18 clash with Geelong Amateur.
Meanwhile, Good Friday (April 3) will now feature two matches, with the Grubbers and Anglesea agreeing to reschedule their originally scheduled Easter Saturday matchup.
Geelong Amateur and Modewarre will also do battle at Queens Park on the Christian Holy Day.
