The opportunity to play with a good mate has helped Corio land the key signing of Jimmy Botsaris from GFNL club St Albans.
The lively midfielder/forward spent last year with the Supersaints, playing every game and kicking 13 goals after crossing from Western League outfit Point Cook.
K rock Football understands Botsaris is keen to take the field with fellow Devils newcomer Harrison Stanley.
“A clever, contested-ball-winning midfielder, Jimmy is strong around the contest and regularly hits the scoreboard,” Corio said in a Facebook post this (Friday) morning.
“He also brings valuable versatility, capable of playing multiple roles across the ground.
“We’re excited to see the impact Jimmy can have as we continue to build towards 2026.”
Botsaris and Stanley are among 12 new faces at Shell Oval as the club prepares for a new era under the incoming coaching duo of Adam Bell and Ross Gemmill.
Corio has locked in practice matches against Chirnside Park and Wickliffe-Lake Bolac before opening its campaign at home against East Geelong.
