The off-season movement between Bannockburn and Bell Park has continued, with the Tigers welcoming Willson Mack to Victoria Park.
Bannockburn had lost talented youngster Ryan Perkins and the returning Ayden Osborne to the Dragons before luring Mack up the Midland Highway.
A graduate of Talent League club Murray Bushrangers, Mack joined Bell Park from Hume league club Brock/Burrum in 2023, having also featured in the strong Ovens and Murray league with Albury.
During his three seasons at Hamlyn Park, the 24-year-old made 50 senior appearances and kicked 52 goals, including 27 in his first year with the club.
“Willson is a 6’2″ (188cm) utility who can play anywhere on the ground and is renowned for his impressive skill level,” the Tigers said on Facebook.
Mack’s arrival continues a strong off-season for Bannockburn.
Star midfielder Jack Brauman has returned from Surfers Paradise, while Scott Driscoll (St Arnaud), Tom Gibson (Birchip-Watchem), Henry Hawker (Leopold) and Tanner Sadler (South Barwon) are among the new faces for coach Ron Pilgrim to work with.
Meanwhile, Werribee Centrals have added former Lara coach Shayne Stone as an assistant coach to Rhyce Prismall for 2026.
Stone, who is no stranger to the competition having previously coached Thomson and Inverleigh, joins son Aaron at Galvin Park.
