A 40-man squad has been unveiled by the Geelong and District Football Netball League for next month’s interleague clash with Colac and District.
To be coached by Thomson premiership mentor Paul Lynch, the Raiders will take to the field for the first time since 2019 when an under-25 line-up takes on the CDFNL at Winchelsea’s Eastern Reserve on King’s Birthday, Monday, June 9.
All 12 clubs have nominated players, with Bannockburn (six), Corio and East Geelong (five apiece) the best represented.
North Geelong, Winchelsea and Werribee Centrals have four players represented.
However, Blues star Indi Parish will be racing the clock to be right after suffering an elbow injury against Anakie in Round 4.
One notable omission is gun North midfielder Rory Desnoy, who is unavailable.
