Anakie has added three players with GFNL senior experience as it looks to build on its 2025 elimination final appearance.
Sam Erwin, Lachie Scerri, and Jackson Francese Fulton have arrived at De Motts Road from Lara, after the Cats went into recess earlier this month.
Erwin debuted in Round 2 last year and made 15 senior appearances.
Scerri also played 15 games last year for a total of 22 across four seasons, while Francese Fulton, who nominated for last year’s AFL Draft, added three senior games in 2025 to his two outings the previous year.
That trio joins fellow former Cat Sam Hoffmann in joining Anakie.
The Roos, who ended a 27-year finals drought last year, have practice matches against Altona and Sunshine Heights scheduled for March 21 and March 28.
Jayke Mawson’s team will open their 2026 campaign against fellow finalists Belmont Lions on April 11.
