GDFNL president Neville Whitley is confident the so-called mystery club that has expressed an interest in becoming the Bellarine League’s 12th club isn’t a member of his league.
Whitley personally contacted each club earlier this week to ask whether they were planning to leave, and 12 negative responses were received.
“Unless someone’s telling me fibs … everyone I’ve contacted over the last 48 hours are staying in the GDFL system and have not made any intention of moving,” Whitley told K rock Football’s Beyond the Boundary podcast.
