Winchelsea has added valuable experience as it looks to build on its preliminary final appearance this year.

Blues coach Ben Moloney has confirmed to K rock Football the arrival of veteran Thomson swingman Paul Davis as an assistant coach and livewire Barwon Heads forward Jake Whybrow.

Davis, a Portarlington junior, has played at senior level with the Demons and Bellarine rivals Drysdale, as well as Ballarat League club Melton and the Mallee Eagles in the Central Murray League.

The Blues have also welcomed home Baxter Boddington from Apollo Bay, while George Huf (Caramut/Queenscliff), Xavier Tweedly (Port Fairy) and Jacob Talarico (Ocean Grove) will call Eastern Reserve home.

They follow the previously announced signings of Jaiden Camenzuli (Pakenham), Mitch Cofield (Rutherglen), Jordan Powell (Launceston), and Nick Swain (Anglesea).

Gun midfielder Indy Parish, who has joined Natte Bealiba in the Maryborough Castlemaine District League, is the only confirmed departure.
