Geelong VFL forward Tobyn Murray has been rewarded for his outstanding form at state league level after being drafted by Fremantle.
The Dockers used their second pick (40 overall) to select the Colac product.
Overlooked in two drafts since graduating from the Geelong Falcons, the small forward played 23 games with the Cats over the past two seasons, kicking 22 goals in 17 games this year.

He finished fourth in Geelong’s best-and-fairest, only 14 votes behind the winner, Marcus Herbert.
