Bell Park will accept a suspension offered to star Isaac Wareham for an incident that left St Albans gun Sam Wolfenden with a concussion.

Dragons coach James Saker confirmed the club wouldn’t challenge the ban for the high bump during the third quarter of Saturday’s 97-point hiding of the Supersaints.

The early guilty plea reduces the AFL Barwon Match Review Panel’s offer from a three-week ban to two games.

“It looks fairly innocuous, and I don’t think it was Isaac’s intention,” Saker said.

“Unfortunately. he got him high, and we have to accept that.”

Previously on Geelong’s VFL list, Wareham will miss Bell Park’s matchups with North Shore and Geelong West.

He’ll return for the mouthwatering round five meeting with St Joseph’s.

Colac big man Josh Garner will be free to play against Leopold on Saturday if he accepts a reprimand for charging Newtown & Chilwell youngster Connor Fopiani in the Tigers’ 15-point win at Central Reserve.
