Finals spark burns for veteran Giant

Geelong West veteran Patrick Eastman has expressed his desire to feature in GFNL finals action before calling time on his career.

Eastman, who kicked a career-best six goals in the Giants’ weekend mauling of St Albans, has played 164 senior games and is second only to North Shore’s Aaron Seller (229 games) for the most matches without a finals appearance among current players.

“I crave it a lot – big time,” the 30-year-old told krockfootball.live. “I think about it a lot, and I really, really think this is the team to do it.

“We haven’t started quite as well as we would have liked.

“But, I think if we string a few together, we’re a big chance.”
