GFNL: COMINGS & GOINGS

GFNL grand finalist St Joseph’s will welcome back talented former junior Mal White to Drew Oval in 2026.

The Geelong Falcons graduate has spent the past two seasons with Ballarat league club North Ballarat, and this year earned a spot on the list of VFL club Port Melbourne, playing one game for the Borough.

White, who crossed from Torquay in 2021, played in Joeys’ under-18 grand final team in 2022 – his first season at the Falcons, where he made two appearances at Talent League level.

He featured in 12 games in his top-age year for the Falcons.

It is understood that at least one Bellarine club was keen on White’s services.

Big man Joey Chaplin is the only confirmed departure from St Joseph’s grand final team.

However, fringe trio Ged Gallagher, Avery Knight, and Dylan Sharp have crossed to Modewarre in the BFNL.
