An investigation has found St Albans’ Bailey Coutts has no case to answer for a bump on Lara star Darby Henderson.
AFL Barwon released the outcome tonight (Thursday), stating: “The appointed Accredited Independent Investigations Officer determined that there was no reportable offence committed by either Darby Henderson or Bailey Coutts”.
The investigation was requested by the Cats after AFL Barwon’s Match Review Panel also found the contact made by Coutts during the first quarter of the Supersaints’ win at Lara Recreation Reserve on July 12.
Henderson, who’d previously come from the field in the opening ten minutes of the contest, didn’t return following the bump.
The former Williamstown VFL player entered the 21-day concussion protocol.
That ends on Saturday, allowing Henderson to play against Colac, where he has been named on an extended bench.
Lara has told K rock Football that it will accept the finding.
