Leopold is into the GFNL Grand Final, following an 11 point win over St Mary’s in the preliminary final.
Thousands went through the gate at Leopold Memorial Park on Saturday afternoon to watch the game.
The final score 10.9.69 to 8.10.58.

Coach Garry Hocking said they wanted to get some points on the scoreboard early.
“We got some really good looks early in the first quarter,” he said.
“The second quarter their contests probably just outworked us a little bit.
“The game became a bit of an arm wrestle there for a while.
“In the third and fourth quarter, we got a bit more run and creativity, changed angles a bit.”

The Lions will now meet South Barwon in the decider, who enjoyed the week off.
