Colac has found its replacement for departed coaching duo Seb Ross and Jason Armistead, appointing the experienced Kasey Duncan to the role on a two-year deal.
Duncan, who moved to Geelong last year, most recently led Northern League club North Heidelberg.
He also coached Avenel in the Kyabram and District League and has been part of a coaching immersion program at AFL club Western Bulldogs.
“Bringing great energy, a strong work ethic and a passion for player development, Kasey is ready to lead our senior football program into an exciting new chapter,” a statement on the Colac’s Facebook page said.
“We look forward to supporting Kasey as we continue to build a strong, competitive and successful future for our playing group.”
As a player, Duncan appeared with Goulburn Valley League clubs Euroa and Seymour. He won the Kyabram and District League best-and-fairest in 2016 when playing with Avenel.
Colac finished the 2026 home-and-away season in sixth position with a 9-9 win-loss record, three games behind fifth-placed Bell Park.
