North Shore’s Nathan King is free to play in Saturday’s Paddy Cahir Cup clash with Lara after accepting a reprimand for making contact with an umpire.
King was cited by AFL Barwon’s Match Review Panel following an incident in the final quarter of the Seagulls’ loss to Geelong West at Windsor Park.
It has been assessed as a low-level offence, resulting in a one-match suspension.
However, an early guilty plea means King can take on the Cats in the battle of the GFNL’s two winless teams.
Meanwhile, Inverleigh youngster Jarvis Miles has escaped sanction after being scrutinised for allegedly striking Corio playing coach Joel Bennett.
With no available vision of the second-quarter incident, no charge was laid.
No vision meant no charges were laid following a melee between the Hawks and Devils during the third quarter of the clash at Shell Oval.
And no reportable offences were identified in the melee during the final term of the Bellarine clash between Queenscliff and Anglesea at Queenscliff Recreation Reserve.
