South Barwon has landed Geelong VFL big man Kye Annand as its first recruit for the 2026 GFNL season.

The Swans, who missed this year’s top five after consecutive grand final appearances, announced the addition of the Ocean Grove product on Monday night.

Annand, who turns on October 14, is no stranger to the GFNL after spending 2023 with Geelong West as his interchange club.

At the Cats, he has played 20 games, including ten this year.

Annand isn’t the only departure from the Grubbers to the GFNL.

Miller Keck will link up with brother and GFNL Team of the Year member Fletcher at St Albans, and will be joined by fellow youngster Jack Stephenson.

The Supersaints have also added Brodie Evans from Essendon and District club Doutta Stars.

More to come.
