This season is barely half done, but South Barwon already has half an eye on 2024 after announcing a string of re-signings.

The Swans, who have recently added experienced football administrator Brendan Curry as list manager, have had commitments from nine players this week.

Captain Matt Caldow, vice-captain Taylor Mulraney, Rowan Gough, Dylan Starkie, Chris Hughes, Austin Shepherd, Fraser Duryea, Todd White, and Kelly O’Neil have all put pen to paper.

“I couldn’t sign up quick enough,” Caldow said.

“It’s an easy decision when the club has so many great people involved at all levels.

“I’m excited by the group we have and what’s to come.”

Under new coach Mark Neeld, South Barwon sits fifth on the GFNL ladder with a 5-3 win-loss record.

The Swans’ three losses have come by a combined 13 points.
