Leopold could be without Tate Porter for Sunday’s crucial clash with Colac after the gun midfielder was cited for an incident in the Polders’ weekend win over North Shore.
Porter was charged with rough conduct on Seagulls newcomer Seth Talbot in the first quarter of the match at Windsor Park.
It’s been graded by AFL Barwon’s Match Review Panel as intentional conduct, medium impact, and body contact, drawing a two-match suspension.
An early guilty plea reduces the sanction to a one-match ban.
Meanwhile, Bell Park’s Fred Lucas can accept a reprimand for rough conduct on South Barwon young gun Zach Stevens in an incident assessed as careless conduct, medium impact, and body contact during the first quarter of the Dragons’ win at Hi Sushi Oval.
In the Bellarine, Queenscliff recruit Marshall Rippon can accept a one-week suspension for rough conduct on Geelong Amateur star Tom Gribble.
The third-quarter incident at Queenscliff Recreation Reserve was graded as careless conduct, medium impact, and high contact, with the base sanction a two-week ban.
If Rippon lodges an early guilty plea, he’ll miss the unbeaten Coutas’ match-up with Surf Coast.
Teammate Joe Cincotta was also cited, but can escape with a reprimand for rough conduct on James Hickey.
And Modewarre veteran Matt Farrelly will be free to play Portarlington after the Warriors’ bye this weekend if he accepts a reprimand for rough conduct on Newcomb sharpshooter Jack Duke.
