Star Seagulls commit

In an off-season that has seen six players depart, North Shore has good news, with five players re-signing for 2024.

Captain Jacob Sammut-Miljevic, who claimed the John Albon Medal as Seagulls’ best-and-fairest, leads the committed quintet.

Wingman Brad Gerrard, who posted a third-place finish in the best-and-fairest, Jordan Purcell, Colby Burns, and Cameron Primerr have all put pen to paper for next year.

Departing Windsor Park so far is Corio-bound duo Herschelle Carr and Hayden Burns, Patrick Cleary (North Geelong), Jordan Lane (Lauderdale), Jack Leonard (St Joseph’s), and Nick Stonehouse (Irrewarra-Beeac).

Meanwhile, Lara has also unveiled a handful of re-signings for next year.

Captain Dylan Jose, who kicked 16 goals in 14 games, joins Ben O’Brien, Zekiah Davey, and Sam Purdy in signing on at Bisinella Oval.

The Cats have also got commitments from youngsters Cam Edwards, Alex Papas and Brodie Cambridge after the trio made their GFNL senior debuts in 2023.
