GEELONG Falcons will unveil a handful of debutants when they meet the Murray Bushrangers in Bendigo on Sunday in a rescheduled NAB League Girls game.
The Falcons and Bushrangers were due to meet in Round 2.
However, the match was postponed due to the snap COVID-19 lockdown in Victoria in mid-February.
With several Falcons on Vic Country duty at both under-17 and under-19 level and injuries to captain Lucy Were and Jess Woods, coach Paul Corrigan has turned to Mackenzie Cumper (Geelong West), Chloe Adams (Grovedale), Mekah Morrissy (Newtown & Chilwell), Sara Howley (Newtown & Chilwell) and Madeline Van Loon (St Mary’s).
MEANWHILE, the Falcons boys have included Angus Codd (Newtown & Chilwell) and Zac Mirkovic (Bell Park) for their meeting with the Bushrangers, which is also fixtured for Bendigo.
They replace Mitch Knevitt and Joel Edwards.
