GEELONG Falcons coach Jason Armistead has been steadfast throughout the 2019 NAB League season in labelling the Northern Knights as the best team in the competition.

So it’s no surprise Armistead is keen to see how his undefeated charges compare against the competition’s only other unbeaten team when they meet at Deakin University on Sunday afternoon.

“I really want to see if the way we play stands up against the best side,” Armistead.

“We think the way we play is good enough to beat the best. It’s just whether or not we put it out there on Sunday.

“If it’s not, we can make some adjustments over the next couple of weeks coming into the semi-finals.”

The Falcons have made three changes, welcoming back Poppy Schaap, Laura Ryan and Zoe Garth, with Jeremi Robinson, Bianca O’Brien and Mia Van Dyke making way.

“Jeremi’s really unlucky to go out,” Armistead said.

“It’s probably a bit do with size. We felt we were a little bit tall last week, so we’ve brought in mid-size or smaller players.

“Bianca’s a pretty unlucky as well.

“We’re still not 100 per cent sure (of our best team), but it is getting pretty close to what we want to look like (in the finals).
