GEELONG Falcons will play their only home game of the NAB League Boys season when they host the Bendigo Pioneers at Deakin University on Saturday afternoon.
The 13-round fixture has the Falcons, who are coming off a narrow Round 1 win over the Gold Coast Academy at Craigieburn, hosting games at various venues, including Ballarat and Werribee.
Coach Paul Corrigan is encouraging local football fans to take the chance to see the next generation of stars now.
“It will be a good showcase of the talent in the region,” he said.
“It will be a good opportunity with our only home game of the year for the Geelong region to get down and support the boys.”
After kicking two goals in Geelong West’s narrow loss to Leopold at GFL senior level last week, Angus Codd has earned a call-up to the Falcons team.
