GEELONG defender Mark Blicavs has been cited for staging and offered a $1000 fine by the AFL’s match review officer.

Blicavs took a dive and clutched his head while on the ground when Sydney’s Lewis Melican brushed past him during Sunday’s SCG fixture.

Two other players, Carlton’s Dale Thomas and St Kilda’s Josh Bruce, have also been offered fines by match review officer Michael Christian.

Thomas can accept a $3000 fine for striking Adelaide’s Lachlan Murphy, while Bruce can accept a $2000 fine for kneeing Melbourne’s Clayton Oliver.

Gold Coast’s Jarrod Harbrow had his match-day report for high contact on Essendon’s Matt Guelfi withdrawn, with Christian deeming the contact not sufficient for a report.
