AFLW CAT ATTACK PODCAST – SEPTEMBER 10
Geelong captain Meg McDonald remains on the outer after being left out of the squad for Sunday’s clash with Richmond at Princes Park.
The 34-year-old skipper was left out of the Cats’ team for last week’s first win of the season, against Essendon.
Despite what coach Dan Lowther labelled “a positive week on the track,” McDonald has missed out on a spot in the extended squad.
Geelong will make at least one change, with key defender Claudia Gunjaca returning after a toe injury forced her to be a late out from the clash with the Bombers.
Bryde O’Rourke and Caitlin Thorne have been named on an extended bench of eight that will be reduced to five tomorrow afternoon.
